Our Cupcakes
Our cupcakes are produced by hand, in small batches on site, throughout the day, with locally produced fresh sour cream and sweet butter.  We use pure fresh vegetable oils, no trans fats.  Only pasteurized eggs ensure that you are safe.  Common Ground wants only the best for you.  It's more expensive to produce them this way, but the safety and ohhh the flavors....

Baking cupcakes from scratch is an art.  It's challenging but satisfying to get the batches to bake up right everytime without artificial extenders, softeners, emulsifiers, stabilizers, and anti-caking chemicals as found in most store preparations. With us you will always know what you're eating....all good stuff.
 
Our Coffees      


For 22 years, our coffee has been produced by master roasters of legendary Caffe D'Arte in Seattle's Georgetown.  It was founded by Mauro Cippolla, a first generation Italian who understands and is fanatic about traditional roasting,  Caffee D'Arte's blends are hand crafted Arabica coffees, blended and roasted according to rigid Italian artisan traditions.  They are roasted in small wood and gas fired roasters, without computers which can never replace human knowledge, experience and passion, then delivered within 48 hours of roasting.  

This results in a interesting, complex, and sophisticated taste.  There is no need to over roast and turn out bitter coffees to hide imperfect craftmenship.  You only get the sweet smooth buttery flavors.  Strong but smooth without bitterness.  In fact, the Caffee' D'arte blends are recognized all over America and internationally.
